what cause my constipation?

Dose Seroquel, tryptophan, or Baclofen cause my constipation?

I take Seroquel, tryptophan, and Baclofen. Could any of these cause constipation for long periods? If not, could it be a dietary problem ?Seroquel (quetiapine) is an atypical antipsychotic agent used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. The most common side effects with Seroquel are drowsiness, headache, agitation, dizziness, increased cholesterol, dry mouth, and weight gain. Other side effects with Seroquel include constipation. Baclofen is a skeletal muscle relaxant which is used to treat muscle spasms. The most common side effects with baclofen are drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia, slurred speech, and psychiatric disturbances. Other side effects with baclofen include constipation. Tryptophan is sold as a dietary supplement for many indications including "insomnia, anxiety, and depression." Because dietary supplements (e.g., tryptophan) have not been thoroughly studied in the clinical setting, possible side effects and interactions with other drugs are not well-known. Also, because herbs and supplements are not strictly regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, these products are not required to be tested for effectiveness, purity, or safety. In general, dietary supplements should only be taken under the supervision of your health care provider.
There are several ways to help prevent and treat constipation without using medications. Regular exercise is one way to prevent constipation. Drinking water and other fluids is another. You need about 8 glasses of water and other non-caffeinated beverages a day, so you may need to increase your fluid intake. Getting enough fiber in your diet is another way to prevent constipation.
